With the dental sleep medicine, a new and interesting field of activity opens up for the dentist / orthodontists in interdisciplinary cooperation with sleep doctors, pneumologists and ENT doctors. Dentists trained in sleep medicine can today perform therapy for sleep apnea and snoring using lower jaw protrusion tracks in accordance with guidelines.
This course teaches sleep medicine basics, clinical know-how, and practical experience for the treatment of sleep-related respiratory disorders using intraoral devices.
